I wanted to post this initial message to test out my new travel blog. I also wanted to test the image-posting capabilities of this blog--above is picture of me aboard the ship last winter when we arrived in Moorea.
We will be leaving on the afternoon of September 1st, and we will be arriving in Hong Kong on September 3rd (we lose a day, in addition to the 18 hours of travel time). From there we will arrive in Singapore on September 5th and will not board another plane until October 12th, when we fly from Bangkok, Thailand to Auckland, New Zealand. I will try to keep this blog updated as much as possible, though the availability of internet cafes in the remote regions of Thailand and New Zealand is yet to be determined.
